I wanted to do something original for my birthday so here is what I did. I rented out a school auditorium and back dressing room, I also rented out a limo for an hour. I sent out invites that were written on black stars that had silver glitter borders and wrote as if they were being invited to come to recieve an award at the grammies, attached was a smaller black star with a glitter border and asked if they were coming and who they would be, because they were supposed to come dressed as their favorite celeb. Also in the invite it asked guests to bring any makeup or clothes that they wouldn't mind sharing. They had to give me back the smaller stars to be given a VIP back stage pass for the awards.  On the day of the party the limo first picked up pizza and I loaded it with pop and decorated it with black table cloth and silver and gold plates confetti and center piece. Then we went and picked up the girls at there house.  We had pizza in the limmo and then we went to the school auditorium, we set up the backstage dressing room by putting makeup and stuff there, then we got a partner and did eachothers hair and makeup and came up with how we would accept awards and what song we would be SINGING or dancing- lipsyncing wasn't allowed. THere was a snack bar with all sorts of food on one side of the room where between makeovers and practicing we loved to hang. Then we met in groups and decided who from the other groups would be given what awards, we did the awards and the performances in about 40 minutes and then we gathered our stuff and changed into normal clothes if we wanted. WE got back into the limmo at around nine and there we had cake and ice cream floats and sang and did presents and stuff. Then we went back to my place at around 10:20 and we watched a movie. Then at around midnight we played truth or dare, throughout the night we also played boardgames, nintendo games, makeovers, painted nails, and did tons of other stuff before going to sleep at around 3:30 am. The next morning we had a breakfast bar that was set out in black and gold and silver. Then we did a morning stars scavenger hunt and then we said our goodbyes, everyone got to take home sunglasses, eyeshadow, lipbalm, and glitter, and a keepsake photo and frame of all of us at the "awards". They also got to keep whatever award they won. It was a great experience and I had so much fun!!
