We just threw my brother a party like a rock star" party for his 18th birthday.  Everyone was told to dress like a rock star or they would be bounced. Our sidewalk became a red carpet a velvet rope for entry and a photographer snapping pics (we used friends of the family for the bouncer and photographer). When guests first entered we had them go to a website called rockstarname.com to determine what their rockstar name was which we then put on a VIP pass that we hung around their necks. Inside we had 3 tv's set up with Guitar Hero Rock Band and Karaoke revolution for people to play as well as a "green room" with food and beverages. For fun beverage ideas we had Rockstar energy drinks a root beer keg and bottles of sparkling grape juice which we covered with Crystal labels.  We also had a guitar shaped cake. For decorations we went online and found a website that allows you to design your own posters so we made rock star posters of our brother and hung them all over.  For ambiance we had loud music playing a strobe light and a fog machine (which we borrowed). The guests had a blast and so did we!"
