For my 14th birthday party, i wanted to do something really special, becuase i have always had great parties, and i wanted to be remembered by them. THEME: Hollywood/Scavenger hunt party. INVITATIONS: For my invitations, i made them specific for each of my friends to match their personalities. They all had pictues of limos, hollywood stars, etc. but they also had all the stuff that person liked to do too. The color theme for my party was black, gold, and silver, so all the invitations matched the theme. THE PARTY: The party began on a friday after school, all my friends (12 including me) showed up at my house around 4:30. When everyone arrived we got into the limo" which was actually my mom's van put in balloons and streamers my ipod speakers and a divider between the front seat and the back so it really felt like a limo (but obviously a lot cheaper) The "limo" took us to my grandpa's house where we walked down the red carpet and went into the basement that I set up to look like a dance studio. All my friends and I take dance together and it is our favorite thing to do so we ordered pizza's split up into groups and had mini dance competitons until 7:00. When we were done we got back into "the limo" that brough us to the mall. Now it was time for our photo shoot. On the invitations i told all my friends to bring their dance shirts a fancy dress pj's and jeans and a white shirt. They didnt know it but it was for the photo shoot! All my friends were totally surprised! We had our pictues taked profesionally at The Picture People. The first pose was when we were all in black dance pants and our mathcing dance shirts we all took poses like a heel stretch a split etc. Then we took a fancy picture in our dresses then we took a pajama picture conisdering it was a sleepover party that one was really fun because we got to make it look like we were having a pillow fight! Finally the last picture was with everyone in jeans and a white shirt except for me i was in jeans and a hot pink shirt and i stood right in the middle. The pictures came out great and the best part was that everybody got to keep a copy of each picture!!! After that my mom really made it sound like the party was done and we were going to go back to my house and go to bed so we all got back in "the limo" and started driving. I tried to keep my friends busy by singing songs with them so they wouldnt realize that we weren't driving to my house and one of my friends finally said "Caley wait where are we going" that is when we pulled into the bowling alley. By then it was 9:30 and we were about to start blacklight bowling it is bowling that goes from 9:30-1:00 and everything glows in the dark there is a DJ dancing and it is really a lot of fun so we bowled 3 rounds and went home at 1 in the morning! Now you would think my party would end there and everyone would be ready for bed but we weren't. we went home danced some more ate a ton of junk food and watched mean girls the most perfect movie for a sleepover party! When that was over around 3:00 in the morning we finally went to bed. I had to wake everyone up at 10:00 because we still had a whole buffet breakfast to eat! Full of pancakes french toast waffles eggs bacon sausage everything you could imagine! And we had a full day ahead of us. At 11:00 15 more girls came to my house and we started round 2 of the party... A scavenger hunt around town. We split up into about 8 teams each with a parent who voulenteered to drive. The hunt was from 12-3 and you could go anywhere you needed too. The list consisted of things you had to do things you had to collect and things you had to take pictues of. My friends absolutely loved it. When we got back to my house we shared the pictues from the hunt had cake and opened presents. The party ended at 4:30. I had a 24 hour party!!! It has been almost a year since the party and my friends are still talking about it!!"
