Hey! I wanted my 13th birthday party to be an unforgettable one, so I decided to have a color theme. It was held at my house, and we put "pink and white attire requested but not
required" on the invite. My family had cleared out the furniture in our living room, and made a dance floor. There was a dance contest and karaoke, but that's not
it: on our screened-in porch, my brother put on a turban and read people's fortunes with a pack of tarot cards. There was a mini-"cookie walk" and for dinner, people would go
to a table, take a tortilla, put anything they wanted on it, and put it in the line to get baked and...wallah! They got a tortilla pizza.
We also set up a desert table, which included (of course) pink and white M&M's, brownies with vanilla icing, and lots of pink&white food. The tablecloths were pink and white, like the ballons, and we had a disco ball. My birthday cake was chocolate with pink and white icing and pink and white candles. My dog even had a pink and white ribbon on his neck! Before the party, I took a tennis ball, put glue on it, and sprinkled pink and silver glitter on it. When all of our guests were present, they were told the rules of the game: we'd hide it. The first person to find it would hide it somewhere else, but be discreet about it--and not make it TOO hard to find. The last person to hide it before a certain time won a pair of flip flops. Our gift bags were pink and white polka dotted with lots of pink and white things inside. My color theme definitely made the party one to remember, and I had an adsolute blast! Hope you enjoy your birthday party as much as I enjoyed mine!
