For my sixteenth birthday, I plan to have a movie/music theme. As the guests arrive, I'll give them mini CDs with a certain movie written on it. Later on, they're going to match up the name on their mini CD to a prize I bought before the party. The prizes don't have to be really expensive. For ex., go to a local bulk food store and buy gummi bears in bulk and wrap some in plastic bags and give them out as prizes.  Another thing we could do is put everybody in groups and ask movie questions. The group with the most number of questions right gets a prize. Again, they don't have to be really expensive.  Then, I would split everybody up and play a song. They have to guess what song it is that I'm playing. Another prize will be awarded for the person that knows the most songs. I'll have the usual pizza though.  For the cake, I'll have it shaped as a musical note.  We will also watch movies that the guests suggested when they rsvped.  As my little give aways, IM going to make them CD's of songs that are in at that moment.
