For my 13th birthday I had to have it big and what way to show off to everyone in your grade that you're FABULOUS than to have  a party themed GLAMOUROUS?  My party was on a Saturday in October, a few days after my real birthday. I had only invited people that were nice to me and I liked.  but the friends I love were VIPs. There ten VIPs and they got special treatment the whole night. For my invitations, I had made a DVD with the information. The picture you put on the front of the DVD was a picture of me with a tiara on and sunglasses. I had pro-photographer make them. If someone didn't have a DVD player, they could get a paper invitation. It was a scroll. My party was a casual but nothing inappropriate. The party started a 6pm and ended at 9pm. Of course, being the Princess of the party, I had to show up ten minutes late. So everyone except the VIPs and I arrived around 6. My mom and dad had rented a limo and it was for me and the VIPs to arrive at the party for my entrance. So about 15 minutes prior, I was in the limo picking up my ten VIPs. About 3 more VIPs to pick-up, I called my mom and dad via cell so they could round everyone outside for our entrance. After the last 3 pick-ups, we arrived in front of the venue, the Little Girl Scout House. The limo rounded into the gravel parking lot and everyone was anxious and yelling for me to come out. I got out gracefully onto the red carpet the chauffeur had rolled out for me and my VIPs. I was wearing a tiara and carrying my cousin's chihuahua she had let me borrow. I felt just like Paris Hilton. Then alternating gender (boy, girl, boy, girl) the VIPs came out. The rest of the guests had let the carpet be rolled into the venue as they parted and clapped.  After all the VIPs were in, the carpet was rolled up and the other guests fled into the House thanking me for inviting them and saying OMG!! There were 3 tables: one snack table, a GLAMOUR table and one gift table. On the GLAMOUR table were envelopes neatly decorated with the recipients name in nice lettering. About an hour in, I made an announcement for everyone to be quiet and your envelope will be passed out to you. Inside the envelope was the name of your GLAMOUR dance partner.  I had matched all my invites with someone of the opposite gender to dance with on a slow song. Some were shocked, some were happy, some were sad but they all had fun. On the snack table were extravagant foods.  For my tenth birthday, I had an intimate gathering and for the food then, I had fondue with actual fondue pots. I wanted the same thing here for more people. SO in the middle of the table was a 3 foot chocolate fountain and on the left was cheese fondue with dipping stuff like mini-baguettes, crackers, etc., just really French like food. On the right of the fountain was dessert fondue like white-chocolate, etc., with dipping food like fruit, marshmallows and graham crackers. People could take any fruit, marshmallow, anything, and put it onto the fountain. For drinks were sparkling water. It was served in martini glasses and champagne glasses. But for my VIPs, they got glowing martini glasses. I got the only pink glowing martini glass. My music entertainment was my 6th grade math teacher who is totally awesome and he Deejayed a dance at school one time. Everyone loves him. He brought strobe lights and my mom got a fog machine. About 20 minutes till 9, I opened my gifts and thanked everyone. Then we danced more and at nine peoples parents showed up. I took my VIPs home went home myself.
