13th birthday parties are supposed to be the best! I decided to have a dance party. I invited about 30 of my closest friends, guys and girls. My invites were written on CD's. My parents decided to have the party at the town hall. We hired a DJ and made a list of songs we wanted to play including Walk It Out, Two Step, Crank That Soulja Boy, Umbrella, Get The Party Started, etc. We also hired a photographer and vieographer, too. The hall was decorated in balloons, streamers, and glitter. We had a long table with food on it, such as pizza, chips and dip, soda, punch, cupcakes, and brownies. We surround the long table with smaller tables, so people could sit and eat. The party started out with a dancing contest. The DJ hosted it. The winner got a large 2 liter soda bottle. It was fun to see all me friends dance. Then, I had a surprise. Everyone said they wanted to hear my best guy friend sing, so I brought him onstge to sing to Hannah Montana. It was funny! After we ate, we played with two pinatas. Then we danced to the Cha-Cha Slide-Mr. C., The Slide Man. We ended the party with the song Please Don't Stop The Music. When everyone went home, my family cleaned up, and a few of my best friends slept over at my house. After a week, I gave out DVD's of the dance recorded by the videographer. It was fun!
