Hello, My name is Sarah. For my 14th birthday, I'm having a girl/boy dance party.Let me tell ya, this party is going to be a blast! I'm the kind of person that does not do anything without going full-out. My mom and I have already planned everything. So here is how it's going to work. We live in a neighborhood that has a community clubhouse. This clubhouse is for things such as parties, meetings, babyshowers, etc. But this party could take place in a basement or cleared out room that is fit for a good time. The theme is going to be sort of like a crime scene/police car chase accident. The outside walls will be surrounded with caution tape. My dad will be dressed up as a police man and will stand by the door making sure no one is going in without a warrant. Here's my favorite part.. The warrant and a police badge will be sent to the kids before hand as an invitation. The idea is that in order to get dancing, the kids need a warrant to do so. Showing their badge and warrant to my dad will give them the right to undo the chain that will close off the door. Inside there will be a VERY realistic actual sized cardboard police car, (which my friends and I will make)that has crashed into the wall. it will only be half of a car because ofcourse the other side will be completely demolished. on top of the car will be a flashing light, exactly like the ones on real police cars. underneath or beside the car will be a fog machine making it appear as though it's smoking. The fog will also spread throughout the dance floor.Caution tape will surround the accident scene. I will place different colored police lights disperse parts of the room.If you thought all that other stuff was cool, listen to this... I'm hiring a DJ. Before the party really begins, I'll play some police recordings that will come from the car. This is just so people get the feeling of the party before the DJ starts cranking those tunes. I'm going to have all the windows covered with black paper for the light show. The kids don't know about this yet. My kid brother will be dress up as a criminal (striped uniform with handcuffs)and will stand with his head down in the corner untill the music starts. Then he'll go around dancing with my friends. Their is a kitchen hidden around a corner where the "cook", (my mom), will prepare the junk food. In another corner of the room there will be at table where all of this food will be( candy, chips, sodas, pizza, etc). The walls will be decorated with all that good stuff, (handcuffs, flashlights, nets, more caution tape).about a half of an hour later, a disco ball will be dropped and different sorts of colored rotating lights will be turned on(including strobe lights). My DJ will only play the coolest, hottest songs. This party will start at 6:00 and go to 10:00. My best friend and I are thinking of dressing up as policewomen with skirts, but who knows.THIS PARTY IS GOING TO BE SOOOO RAD, THAT PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT IT FOR WEEKS!!!!!
